So, I was at work, came home for a few minutes so I could tell my mom goodbye. Scott had slept in this particular morning. When I walked in, my mom said "oh did you cut Tera's hair?" No, I said that it must be tucked into her shirt, cuz her hair was to the middle of her back. Then I saw it!!! Tera and Tianna had a beauty shop while I was gone and it included scissors! Cut the bangs clear short, the sides are tapered (shortly) and then behind the ears, to the scalp. Oh ya, and one nice chunk in the back. SO, I started to laugh out loud at how mad but funny the situation was. She was so proud of her pretty princess hair and was so cute about it. So, isntead of getting angry, I laughed. Hair will grow back. My mom was here too and laughed harder than anything. She said its because she is the grandma, she is allowed to laugh about it. All her kids did the same thing. Just wanted to shart this story with everyone. Im sure some of you can relate. Here are the before, then one after. How adorable!

Everyone of my kids had an experience similar to this one. Annie's was the shortest, above her ears. But she looked adorable with short hair. I also remember cutting my bangs off as a little girl. I remember laying in bed at night rubbing my fingers across the fuzz. It sure felt cool. All's well that ends well and tara looks adorable.

Can't say we've ever experienced that in our house full of boys! So so funny!
Wow her hair was soo long! She looks cute though in her new hairstyle too! Little girls and hair... Who knows the two of them just might be future beuticians...lol...
Oh Wow!! LOL.... I love her new haircut though.... I need some of your patience. That's good you stayed calm through it all.
I guess they all have to do it sometime. I have to agree with Natalie, Boys don't cut their own hair and I live in a house full of boys. Derek is still pretty young though.
I remember when RaeLynn was little my cousin Jordan cut her pig tail off. I hope we don't have repeat with Derek and Emma. Don't give them any ideas! Please!
lol! That's a funny story.
She is so proud of her haircut! So cute. I remember when you and Amie did that. Or was it me that cut your hair? I can't remember. Her new haircut is adorable. And I bet much easier to do (no crying during the brushing)
So funny! I can't say that I ever did that, at least I can't remember ever doing it. Either way she is a cutie!
That made my day! It made me laugh so hard. Oh, to enjoy life as a child! Tera's haircut turned out adorable. I love your little girls. They are so much fun to watch. Their personalities are so cute and funny. I am glad to be grandma. love, Mom
Oh WOW! She looks just like your mom's baby pictures with that haircut. She defenalty has Bates in her!

Well I have to admit her after picture is beautiful, the before looked a little like a mullet. I have a few hair cutting stories about my kids, I walked down stairs a few months ago and Izzy and Emma were sitting on the couch, Izzy was sucked into the disney channel and was ignoring Emma who was playing with her hair. I walked a little closer to the pair and saw that Emma was holding a pair of sissors and snipping little pieces of Izzy hair all over her head! I asked Izzy why she was letting her and she told me she hadn't know she was even doing it. She was sure upset when she realized it. On the bright side Emma turned out to be a great beautician(sp) because you can't even tell where she had been snipping it.
Maybe Derek is the one that should watch out for Emma. At least boy's hair is easy to fix!
This week in class, we read a story called Tara and Tiree. Carson reminded me that he had a little sister named Tera and that she had cut her own hair. I told him I saw the pictures on the internet and we laughed about it. That was kind of funny.
I LOVE your new background!
Shaniel. Where are you? We need another post.
