Harvest Fest!

So, as you know, every year mom and us kids get together to have a Harvest Fest to celebrate all mom and Dave's hard work in the garden and fruit orchids and to celebrate Halloween with all of our families. This year, we had a little different take on it...it was the Pirate Party year. Thanks to Amie we had an amazing time, she went to ALOT of work and it turned out perfect. Thanks Amie!

So, the "Harvest" part of the fests was not forgoten. Steve gave me some fresh potatoes out of his garden and mom let us kids go "shopping" out of the farmers market van. So, I decided to celebrate all of my families "Harvests" and have my family a feast (well, it was for my family anyways. lol.) The corn is out of my garden in the back yard as well as some of the tomatoes. The cucumbers and red potoatoes were out of moms "Van" and the rest of the pototoes are out of Steve's garden. Thanks everyone for the delicious feast!

8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS? I made cheerleading team in PA, but then I moved. Nothing more.

11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Didn't have one.
12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? In someone elses car. Heidi's or Brits. (senior year anyways)

14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? Dinos! Blue and White, Franklin Knights (a Knight) Red and Gold.
15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? Umm, not sure if it was Homecoming in PA. Didn't go to any dances in UT.
16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? NO WAY. I would do it differently if I did go back, never would want to do it again though. I'll stick with college.
17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION? I watched Heidi walk and cheered for her.
18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY? Im pretty sure I wasnt at school then.

22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? Well, didn't exactly get invited, probably wouldn't have gone though. To PA, I would have liked to, but is too far away.
23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? Yup, Dairy Queen! (PA) and Castly Country Care Center as a CNA (UT)

Help.

I need help! Everytime I change my profile/backgroud, it erases my friends list. How can I change it without losing the list? It takes too much time to redo that list. Thanks for any help..I dont want to stay with Halloween background forever.

Days with Audrey

After Audrey had Alia, she wanted me to come help her for a couple days. I thought we would just come early for the blessing and make two trips in one. I don't know how much help I was with my four kids, but we had fun...I hope. Here are some pictures. Audrey took us to their local park, really pretty and fun place.

The park has a walking trail that we went on for about 1/4 mile, didn't make it very far. There was a drinking fountain we stopped at too.







We made some sandwiches and brought those and some chips with caprisuns for a little picnic. It was fun, thanks Audrey. Hope we didn't wear out our welcome!

8 Things I did Yesterday: ate bowl of cereal and fixed the twins some. Took kids to school, went to work, went to lunch with my budies, washed a load of dishes, put together a futon from Audrey, worked longer to help out a friend, called somebody im sure, read bedtime stories to the twins, tucked all my kids into bed and told them goodnight.

8 Things I am Looking Forward To: hmmmmm, let me think about this. Well, for Thanksgiving to be here to spend with family,for christmas, the magical time of the year to come. form more time to spend with my family with a goal of weekly family nights, a vacation next summer to wherever our money takes us, canning next year with mom and sisters. Yay!!Becomeing my old, calm, gentle self, loose weight.

8 Things I wish for: good health for my family, being a great mom, being able to teach my kids good principles, to loose some belly fat, being a good example, to spend more time with my family, to take nothing for grantite. POSITIVE.

Look at me mom! I cut my hair!! Tera Lynn

So, I was at work, came home for a few minutes so I could tell my mom goodbye. Scott had slept in this particular morning. When I walked in, my mom said "oh did you cut Tera's hair?" No, I said that it must be tucked into her shirt, cuz her hair was to the middle of her back. Then I saw it!!! Tera and Tianna had a beauty shop while I was gone and it included scissors! Cut the bangs clear short, the sides are tapered (shortly) and then behind the ears, to the scalp. Oh ya, and one nice chunk in the back. SO, I started to laugh out loud at how mad but funny the situation was. She was so proud of her pretty princess hair and was so cute about it. So, isntead of getting angry, I laughed. Hair will grow back. My mom was here too and laughed harder than anything. She said its because she is the grandma, she is allowed to laugh about it. All her kids did the same thing. Just wanted to shart this story with everyone. Im sure some of you can relate. Here are the before, then one after. How adorable!
